The North Iowa Builders Exchange is sponsoring Lead Professional Training to ensure local contractors are in compliance with Lead-Safe Renovators requirements. Certification is required for anyone who disturbs paint in pre-1978 housing and child-occupied facilities. In addition, NIACOG and CG Public Health have considerable funding allocated to projects that require Lead Professional Certification Training.
Registration for these courses ends on Monday, February 25, 2025. This training fulfills the requirements for Iowa's Department of Inspections, Appeals, & Licensing Lead Professional Certification Program. Course fees include all instructional materials. State license fees are not included. *Fees may be covered by CG Public Health
